cooling off!
After going to the R ranch we went down to SoCal for a friends wedding reception we had a good time and we were able to see my parents for a few hours, it was a short trip. They sent Bryson home with a little pool. Unfortunately it really hasn't been warm enough to put it up until the other day. He had so much fun just sitting in the back yard, what a nice treat!such a cute boy!
Monteray Bay Aquarium
Since living in the Bay Area, Matt and I have talked about going to Monterey for the Aquarium, but we just took the opportunity last week. I was so surprised to see how toddler friendly it was. We had a lot of fun, Matt and I would love to have a date weekend in Monterey someday! Bryson loved all the huge tanks :)
he was showing us the little see turtles! he really likes them
But most of all, Bryson loved the tidal wave window. He wanted to stay forever!
We had such a great time! anyone who needs a great family trip or just a good date we give it 2 thumbs up :)

R ranch
Since I met the Brashears I have heard of the R ranch, its a nice little place in the Sequoias where there family has had many good times and memories. This year was my first visit and it was really nice. Bryson got dirty every day and loved playing with his Grandma Julie, Aunt Goose and Uncle Austin. We watched the World Cup, visited the horses, and swam almost everyday :)Matt got a great opportunity to go hiking with his brother and his friend Cole, they bushwacked their way up the mountain and had a great time.
(this is the view of the mountain they climbed)we all had a great time, and On the way home Austin and Cole decided to Jump off of a bridge into a lake off of the highway we guess it was about 4o feet.Until next time R ranch!
