Best 6.95 we ever spent!

This past Saturday was the first in a bit we had some free time and wanted to do something fun, we were sad to find that it was supposed to rain the ENTIRE day! I finally came across something that looked fun. Its called the Jungle and its in San Jose maybe 10 min. away. How have I never been here?
its pretty much Chuck E. Cheese blown up!
So to start its free for parent, kids are 6.95 and babies are obviously free.
its 2 stories of tubes, slides, ball pits, net bridges and more! there is a area for littler kids (Bryson warmed up here) and they have a bounce house.

Such a fun day! we didnt want to stop having fun, so when we went home we built our first family fort :)
Yay for Saturday's... I love my boys

Garden!!!

Part of the reason we moved to this house in Cupertino was the back yard. It's so big and Matt envisioned a garden and room for the boys to run around, so thats what we did. We all helped

Bryson got tired and needed a rest :)this is a trial run and we are planting a lot of things we have never tried before.
Our garden list:
onions
garlic
purple,red and yukon gold potatoes
soy beans
zucchini
yellow squash
pumpkin
watermelon
cantaloupe
peppers
tomatoes(cherry,tomatillo,roma, and early bird)
spinach
iceberg lettuce
romaine lettuce
edamame
we know some may not work but like I said its a trial run but we are super excited :)

Feb part 2

I forgot some good stuff!
Matt was off last week unfortunately sick. So we were not able to go out and do much but we did have a few great moments!
Matt, I mean Bryson got some new train tracks for his Geo Trax. They played with trains a whole bunch!
And for the first time in like 30 years it snowed in the bay area. We didnt actually see it snow but we woke up and we saw some on the deck.and the same day was pretty warm and we went on a little hike and had a cool national geographic moment. we saw 3 coyotes chase 4 deer, I think the deer got away :)

February

we had a busy month!!
Everett turned 6 months old! he is getting so big so fast. He is rolling over both ways and starting to get his knees up to crawl ( almost there!). He laughs all the time and is my little angel baby! he is now going to bed on his own, he stopped using a pacifier(on his own) and smiles ALL DAY, even when Bryson steamrolls him!
we found a great little hike just a 5 min. drive from home. Can you see this view?Love my boys! and they love the outdoors.

we went on another day hike past San Jose called quicksilver. We just bought a child carrier backpack for Bryson to get in. He likes to walk but his little legs get tired after a while. We are hoping this gets a lot of use this summer and we highly recommend it! its a dueter comfort II.

and another fun thing that happened was my Father in law just got back from Kuwait, this was his 2nd tour and we are grateful for his service, my boys ( all 3) missed him a lot this past year.

January

In January we moved from Sunnyvale to Cupertino. Change is good, we now are renting a house with a big back yard and the boys have their own room. Matt walks to work, 5 min door to door and we live so close to some great walks and hikes.
lets see what I have as far as pictures, I will post pics of the house soon.

Bryson got this for Christmas and its just stinkin cute!

We found a favorite park!Everett is now big enough for the wagon. Matt has been waiting for this day since we got the wagon and I was pregnant with Everett so we have had a lot of fun walks :)

January was a busy month getting adjusted to the new place and unpacking! but we love it!

Don't know where to start...December?

I have let my self get so far behind that its been since Halloween since I posted. I will just go by months.... I will compact them and it will take less time!
we will start with December. Bryson Turned 2, he is such an amazing little boy, its crazy to think how many emotions I feel every day because of this little boy! he makes me laugh, he makes my proud, he makes me want to cry sometimes, scream sometimes, he absolutely makes me tired by the end of the day, he is a little firecracker.
Over the last few months since turning 2 the flood gates are open and he is talking so much! in fact today he said Love you.... he hears it about a million times a day I have been waiting to hear it back :)
beforeafter ha ha ha!!

Grandma Julie came to visit for the birthday celebration and we had a good visit.

Next comes Christmas. We went to Southern California, spent time with both families and had a good time. I am realizing that we didnt take any pictures with my family!! here is some with the boys and there Aunt and Uncles.

Pumpkin Madness

So I usually blog about my cute boys but this time its about Pumkins! I love fall and all the yummyness that is connected with it. at the beginning of Oct. we went to Humboldt and we visited the pumpkin patch. I picked my pumpkin from the vine. It was displayed in my bay window for decoration for Halloween and then was made into a few yummy treats.

Our Boys!

I swear these boys are getting so big so fast! here are a few pictures of the boys the last few days! The big event is yesterday Bryson slept in his new big boy bed. These pictures are after nap time when I went to get him, he is so proud and happy. At night we did have to put him back to bed but he did really well.

some other cute pics!

We heart Humboldt!

Matt and I had such a great time living in Humboldt, we love going back to visit and it is so much fun bringing our family up there, especially Bryson right now because he is in an exploring stage.
We went to visit our friends Daryl, Sarah, and Raya and soon to be Marshall.

First we went to the Community Forest and let Bryson run around in the woods. I love that this Park is surrounded by Redwoods!

So we woke Bryson up from his nap since it was getting late. I feel like a bad mom but this picture CRACKS me up! we put Everett in there after Bryson was awake but the look on both of their faces is priceless!

After nap we went to the school house to see the Elk,Bryson liked them so much he wanted to go play with them....we didnt think it was a good idea! Everett was just hanging out.

(just a cute pic)

The next day we started the day off with the farmers market. We love Arcata, and we love the Plaza!

Bryson and Raya were very cute running around! we love Raya and wish we saw her more often.
They were having pastel on the plaza, people drew pictures with chalk it was pretty cool!
After nap this day we went to the pumpkin patch we got our pumpkins from the vine it was such a good time!

and that was Humboldt, on the way home we stopped in Leggett to the drive through tree.

Yay for road trips!
